Profile IQA-ISC

The Quality Assurance Unit at Instituto Superior Cristal (ISC) has a long history of evolving in line with national accreditation requirements. It was initially established in 2012 under the name Internal Focus Group on Quality (IFGQ). In 2017, based on a recommendation from ANAAA during the Institutional Accreditation phase, the name was changed to Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) to align with standard terminology in higher education. For the period from 2026 to 2030, the Institutional Quality Assurance (IQA) unit was designated in the Institutional Strategic Plan as the main pillar ensuring quality, sustainability, and academic excellence at ISC.

Responsible for developing and updating quality manuals, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and quality standards. Also plans and coordinates annual internal audit activities and prepares quality assessment reports for the Office of the Provost. In addition, prepares materials for national and international accreditation processes. Monitors and evaluates academic and non-academic activities, including all operational activities.
